The 2023 Formula 1 race in Las Vegas already on board the books

The Formula 1 race on the Strip is still 19 months away. But you can already bet on the winning team of the November 2023 race at Station Casinos.

Red Bull, along with 2021 Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen, is Sportsbook Station’s +110 favorite to win the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Ferrari is the +180 second choice. Mercedes, led by seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, is the third choice 3-1.

“We always try to bring up anything that’s a hot topic and get a lot of attention,” said Red Rock Resort Sportsbook Manager Chuck Esposito. “It says a lot about Las Vegas becoming this sports mecca. …And now we bring one of the most popular international sports here, set against the backdrop of the Strip in a Saturday night race.

“We are excited about it. The race will be the biggest betting Formula 1 event we have for the year.

The other teams have double-digit odds, with McLaren and Alpine at 10-1, AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo at 12-1 and Aston Martin at 18-1. The field (all other teams) pays 30-1.

“With the race being so far away and not knowing if some drivers will change teams, we have offered the winning team as the first offer on the race,” Esposito said. “As we get closer, we will also offer a lot more accessories.”
