Kishtwari, Kralwari’s books published at Sehgal Hall

Jammu, March 28: Three books, titled “Souba Jammu Kay Urdu Kalamkar Vol. I and Vol. II” and “Kani Manze Neran Gowhary-Tanqeed”, written by Wali Mohd Aseer Kishtwari and Shamshad Kralwari respectively, were released today at KL Sehgal Hall, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Language, Canal Road Jammu.

The function was organized by Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary Society Jammu, Anjuman Farogh-e-Urdu Jammu Kashmir (Jammu), Kashmir Art Languages ​​and Music (KALAM) Club Jammu and Nagrad Adbi Sangam Jammu.

The function was chaired by Professor Mohd Riyaz Ahmed, Head of the Urdu Department at the University of Jammu, while Dr Roop Krishan Batt, former Director of the Central Institute of Indian Languages ​​in Mysore and Trustee of the Kashmir Cultural Trust was the guest of honor.

The presidium was shared by Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, Principal Institute of Music and Fine Arts Jammu, Prem Nath Shad, Chief Patron Nagrad Adbi Sangam Jammu, Amin Banihali, Chief Patron Anjuman Farogh-e-Urdu Jammu Kashmir (Jammu), Shamshad Kralwari , Wali Mohd Aseer Kishtwari and Fozia Naseem Mughal, President Anjuman Farogh-e-Urdu Jammu Kashmir (Jammu),

Brij Nath Betab, President of Kalam Club Jammu delivered the welcome speech.

Autar Hugami and Dr. Mohd Asif Malik presented their well-written articles on the relevant books. Khurshid Kazmi and Dr. Shehnaz Qadri also spoke on this occasion and explained the importance of the published books.

All the personalities present at the presidium praised the contribution of Aseer Kishtwari whose 47 publications were brought to light by winning four best book awards including the State Award and the Sahitya Akademi Award 2021.

The speakers also appreciated the critical analysis of Shamshad Kralwari who is a famous broadcaster, translator, poet and critic.

The program was led by Fozia Naseem Mughal while a vote of thanks was presented by Wali Mohd Aseer Kishtwari, Secretary General Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary Society Jammu.
