Cincinnati country fans have a chance to see superstar Garth Brooks on his new concert tour.
Brooks announced Wednesday that he will perform at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati on Saturday, May 14. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 11.
The performance will be Brooks’ first at the stadium and his only stop in Ohio or Kentucky. The concert will be “in the round”, says Brooks’ website, meaning the stage will be set up in the middle of the field rather than the end zone.
Brooks was originally scheduled to perform at Paul Brown Stadium last September, but the Country star canceled the show due to rapidly rising COVID-19 rates at the time.
“In July (when the 2021 shows were announced), I honestly thought the pandemic was behind us. Now, looking at this new wave, I realize we are still in the fight and I have to do my part,” said writes Brooks in an announcement on the website. last August.
This show, itself, was a carryover from 2020, when the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic halted most activities.
